Smyrna, DE (June 13, 2022) – Officials in Smyrna were at the scene of a rollover crash with injuries on Sunday, June 12th. The accident was reported at approximately 5:40 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Route 1.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office and the Delaware State Police, along with rescue crews, arrived at the scene. According to a report, one vehicle rolled over after a collision. There were multiple occupants of the vehicle that rolled over. Paramedics treated the occupants of that car for non-life-threatening injuries. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time.
All but one lane of Route 1 was closed while officials investigated the accident. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel if possible. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed in connection with the crash.
