New Castle, DE (July 6, 2022) — The New Castle County Police Department is currently investigating an auto accident involving a dirt bike that left the operator with critical injuries.
According to reports from authorities, the crash occurred on Sunday at approximately 1:53 pm. Emergency crews were promptly dispatched to the intersection of Riverview Dr and South Place in Collins Park. Upon arrival, authorities found a collision involving a dirt bike and a 2013 Buick Enclave.
The rider of the dirt bike is an unidentified 59-year-old man who was immediately transported to a local area hospital where he has been listed in critical condition.
Officials have stated that the investigation is still currently in its early stages and as such names of the victims are currently unavailable.
