Middletown, DE (July 9, 2022) – Police in Middletown were called to the scene of a serious crash on Friday, July 8th. The crash was reported to authorities around 12:10 a.m.
Officials responded to the 1200 block of Middletown Warwick Road. When they arrived, they discovered a vehicle accident with entrapment. According to a report, a 21-year-old female had to be extricated from the vehicle. She was taken to a hospital in Christiana with serious injuries to her extremities. A 25-year-old male extricated himself from the vehicle and was treated for minor injuries. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition while the female was listed in serious condition. The identities of the victims have not been released.
There is no word on what caused the accident to occur at this time and it is unclear if any charges will be filed.
