Christiana, DE (January 9, 2023) – The Delaware State Police were called to the scene of a serious crash in Christiana on Friday, January 6th. The collision was reported around 9:20 a.m. on Route 1 northbound near the Christiana Mall.
Officials say that a total of two vehicles were involved in the collision. Following the accident, three people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of undescribed injuries. The victims have not been identified at this time. It is not clear what led to the accident taking place. One vehicle was seen on its side following the crash. Motorists were asked to avoid the scene and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
