Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Wilmington
Delaware can be a dangerous state for pedestrians. When the size and population of our state are factored in, we have one of the highest per capita rates of pedestrian accident fatalities.
A pedestrian accident in Wilmington can lead victims and family members to feel hopeless. While waiting for your case to work through the legal system, it is easy to become disillusioned and frustrated with the process. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If your family member was killed in an accident that was not their fault, they could potentially bring a wrongful death claim against the other driver in order to recover for various types of damages suffered as a result of the accident. These claims are complicated, however, and should only be handled by an experienced lawyer.
