Wilmington, DE (February 15, 2023) – The Delaware State Police have identified the man who was killed in a pedestrian crash that took place in Wilmington last week. The accident happened on Thursday, February 10th, on Marsh Road near the intersection with Silverside Road.
According to a report from the scene, 43-year-old Anthony Causi of Wilmington was walking near the roadway when he was hit by a car. Causi suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident. Sadly, he later succumbed to his injuries. No one else was hurt as a result of the accident. There is no word at this time on how the crash took place. It is unclear if any charges are expected to be filed.
The Delaware State Police are still looking into the accident. Anyone with information on the collision should contact the DSP or the Delaware Crime Stoppers.
