Injury Accident in Wilmington
Each day, there are dozens of car accidents reported across Delaware. Although our state is relatively small, we also have one of the highest rates of car accidents and injury accidents in the county. Last year, nearly 8,000 victims suffered injuries in Delaware car accidents. Sadly, 165 motorists were also killed in these collisions. Even if your injuries were not incapacitating, they can linger for weeks and months following the accident and can certainly become more than a minor inconvenience. In some instances, the injuries may not even manifest themselves for some time following the crash.
Following a Delaware car accident, you could have legal rights as a victim. If the accident was not your fault, you could be entitled to compensation. Following an accident, you may sustain injuries that require extensive medical treatment. This treatment can quickly get costly, and the compensation that you receive is partly to help you cover your medical costs. Some other negative effects of a crash include extreme pain and suffering, emotional trauma, and the inability to work and earn a living.
