Pedestrian Accident in Wilmington
Each year, there are hundreds of pedestrian accidents in Delaware. Each pedestrian crash must be carefully investigated by police in order to determine the cause. Most pedestrian accidents will take place because of the actions of a negligent motorist. In these instances, a driver acts in an erratic or irresponsible manner on the road. This behavior can lead to a major crash that can have long-term consequences for victims and their families.
The injuries and damages suffered by victims of a pedestrian crash are often very serious. Many crash victims make the mistake, however, of trying to handle their own case. They may believe that the insurance company is on their side and will try to settle their case in a favorable manner. However, insurance companies usually take the approach of trying to settle the case as quickly and cheaply as possible. This can lead to frustration for an injured victim.
