Hit-and-Run Crash in Wilmington
All motorists in Delaware are legally required to remain at the scene of an accident following a collision with another vehicle. Motorists who choose to ignore this law do so at their own peril, as they might be facing both criminal and civil consequences for their actions. Sadly, hit-and-run crashes are among the most severe types of accidents in our state. Drivers who cause these crashes often flee the scene in an effort to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. A hit-and-run case can present many complicated facts that should only be resolved with the help of an experienced attorney.
