Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Wilmington
Pedestrian crashes are among the most serious types of accidents that we see on our local roadways. The reasons for this should be somewhat obvious, as pedestrians have no protection from the impact of a crash. Further, pedestrian accidents often occur at night or in poorly-lit areas. Neither the driver nor the pedestrian has much time to slow down or take evasive maneuvers to avoid an accident from occurring. Additionally, driver negligence can also factor in as motorists may be speeding or distracted at the time of the crash.
