Newark, DE (June 5, 2023) – Police in Newark were called to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Monday, June 5th. The crash was reported at approximately 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of West Delaware Avenue and South College Avenue.
In addition to police, fire and rescue crews were also called to the scene after the collision. When authorities arrived, they found at least one person suffering from injuries due to the crash. The nature and extent of the victim’s injuries are not known at this time. There is no word on what caused the collision to take place. The road was partially blocked as the accident was investigated. Motorists were told to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
