Injury Crashes in Delaware
A Delaware injury accident can lead to serious and devastating injuries for victims. Crashes are reported in and around the Wilmington area on a daily basis. While not all accidents will result in injuries, many of them will. To make matters worse, the injured victims are frequently identified as innocent motorists who were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Given the prevalence of negligent drivers on Delaware’s roadways, it takes just a split second of poor driving to cause a major injury accident.
Following each Delaware car accident, police must carefully investigate the collision in order to determine how it took place. Officials will take photographs of the scene, speak with witnesses, and gather other information. They may then issue charges to any driver who they deem to be responsible for the accident. The initial investigation is important because it can help establish legal liability later on.
If you or a loved one were injured in a Delaware car accident, you should speak with a qualified attorney as soon as possible. Having an experienced lawyer by your side will help to ensure that your legal rights are protected and that you receive the compensation that you deserve. The insurance company is not always interested in settling a case fairly. Your attorney will fight for you even if the insurance adjuster is acting in bad faith.
