Hockessin, DE (September 15, 2023) – Officials in Hockessin were dispatched to the scene of an accident involving a car and a school bus on Thursday, September 14th. The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. on Millcreek Road near Graves Road.
According to a report, the bus, from the Red Clay School District, was involved in the collision. Students from McKean High School were on board at the time of the accident. The driver of the car, a 65-year-0ld from Christiana, was taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. Eight students aboard the bus were also transported for evaluation. The bus driver was not injured in the crash. Police did not say what led up to the collision. No one involved has been identified.
