Dewey Beach, DE (September 30, 2023) – Police in the Dewey Beach area were called to the scene of a serious pedestrian crash on Saturday morning, September 30th. The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Route 1 near Rodney Avenue.
According to a report from the Dewey Beach Police Department, a man was walking on Route 1 when he was struck by a vehicle. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported to the man to Beebe Hospital via helicopter. The man was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.
