Wilmington, DE (November 27, 2023) – A man was killed after being hit by a DART bus in Wilmington on Monday, November 27th. The crash took place just after 5:45 a.m. in the 100 bock of North Monroe Street.
According to a report from officials, a 38-year-old pedestrian was walking on North Monroe Street when he was struck by the bus. The man sustained critical injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The man’s identity has not been revealed at this time. There were no additional injuries reported as a result of the crash. At this time, it is unknown exactly how the accident occurred.
