Wilmington, DE (December 20, 2023) – The Delaware State Police were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle car accident on Wednesday, December 20th. The crash occurred just after 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Dupont Highway and School Lane.
According to a report, a total of four passenger vehicles and two tractor-trailers were involved in the crash. A 65-year-old male was trapped inside one of the vehicles and had to be extricated and transported to a local hospital where he was treated for internal injuries and listed in critical condition. Additionally, a 40-year-old female was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on whether any other injuries were reported.
