Newark, DE (June 16, 2024) – Two people were injured in a crash that took place in Newark on Friday, June 14th. The crash happened just after 2:00 p.m. on Route 7 southbound near Ogletown Stanton Road.
According to a report, the two injured victims were trapped inside a crashed vehicle that had rolled over. One of the victims was able to self-extricate before authorities arrived. The other victim was removed from the car by rescue crews. Both injured motorists were taken to Christiana Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Neither of the victims have been identified at this time. The Delaware State Police are investigating the cause of the accident. No further details have been released at this time.
