New Castle, DE (June 30, 2024) – Authorities in New Castle responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle injury accident on Friday, June 28. The accident happened around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of South Dupont Highway and Quigley Boulevard.
According to a report, the crash happened when a car was stopped at a red light and a second vehicle rear-ended the first vehicle. The force of the impact caused the first vehicle to strike a tractor-trailer. The car then became partially wedged underneath the tractor-trailer.
