Wilmington, DE (September 20, 2022) – The Wilmington Police Department responded to the scene of an injury accident on Tuesday, September 20th. The crash took place around 8:55 a.m. at the intersection of Market Street and Vandever Avenue.
According to a report from the scene, there were at least two vehicles involved in the collision. When officials arrived, they found that at least one of the motorists involved was suffering from injuries due to the accident. Paramedics transported the injured victim to a nearby hospital. The nature and the extent of the injuries are not known at this time. There is no information on what led up to the accident. Motorists were asked to avoid the scene and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
