Car Accidents in Delaware
A Delaware car accident can certainly be a difficult and burdensome event for both the crash victim and their families. While about 50,000 car accidents take place each year across our state, about half of these accidents will also cause one or more injuries to those involved in the collision. During this time, you will likely have questions about your legal rights as a result of the accident.
Fortunately, under Delaware law, car accident victims can recover compensation for the injuries that they have suffered. If the other motorist was at least partially negligent in causing the accident, then the person who was injured can seek recovery for lost wages, pain and suffering, medical and prescription experiences, and potentially more. It is important to speak with a skilled attorney as soon as possible in order to ensure that you fully understand your legal rights and how you can maximize the compensation that you receive.
