Milton, DE (October 23, 2022) – A bicyclist was killed in a crash with a vehicle in Milton on Saturday, October 22nd. The accident was reported just before 6:30 p.m. on Bay Road just past Tub Mill Pond Road.
According to a report from the Delaware State Police, the rider was traveling on Bay Road when he was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross the street. The bicyclist, later identified as a 36-year-old man from Milford, died at the crash scene. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and remained until police could arrive. Neither the deceased victim nor the driver was identified. There were no other injuries reported as a result of the crash. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
