Delaware Car Accidents
Each year, there are approximately 30,000 car accidents reported in Delaware. While each accident has its own unique set of circumstances, most collisions occur because of the negligence of at least one of the drivers involved. Speeding and other forms of reckless driving are among the most common causes of collisions in our state with about 1 out of every 3 crashes caused by speeding. Often, innocent motorists are hurt as a result of another driver’s negligence.
If you or a loved one have sustained injuries in a Delaware car accident, it is important to seek the help that you need. This includes obtaining medical treatment as soon as possible in the aftermath of the crash. Many victims delay their treatment and, as a result, their injuries will worsen in the meantime. Seeing a doctor right after the collision can make the injuries more manageable and can also increase the pace of your recovery. In addition to seeking medical treatment, a crash victim should also speak with a skilled Delaware car accident attorney. This should occur before you speak with an insurance adjuster.
