Lincoln, DE (November 24, 2022) – The Delaware State Police was dispatched to the scene of a serious crash in Lincoln on Wednesday night. The accident was reported just after 8:00 p.m. on North Old State Road near Haflinger Road.
According to a report from the Delaware State Police, a 21-year-old male was operating a vehicle on Old North State Road when he lost control. The man was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the incident. The man’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole before coming to rest. The driver and his 18-year-old male passenger were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time. There were no other vehicles or individuals involved.
