Dover, DE (December 24, 2022) – The Delaware State Police have identified a man who was killed in a rollover crash that took place earlier this week in Dover. The accident was first reported on Wednesday, December 21st at Bayside Drive, just south of Pickering Beach Road.
According to officials, 20-year-old Sebastian Gow died as a result of the collision. Police say that Gow was riding as a passenger in a 2003 Green Subaru Legacy. The Legacy was traveling southbound when the 18-year-old female driver failed to negotiate a curve. The driver overcorrected after going off the road to the right. The Subaru traveled to the other side of the ride before it rolled over and came to rest.
Gow died at the crash scene. The driver was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other cars involved in the crash. The road was closed for approximately 3.5 hours while an investigation was conducted and the scene was cleared. Troopers have not said whether any charges are expected to be filed.
