Newark, DE (March 21, 2023) – A two-vehicle accident in Newark led to injuries on Monday, March 20th. The crash happened around 1:10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Samoset Drive.
According to a report from officials, a box truck and an SUV collided with one another. Following the crash, the SUV rolled over and was found on its side when police arrived. The driver of the SUV was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by rescue officials with the Christiana Fire Company. The male driver was evaluated at the scene for injuries and was then transported to Christiana Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. There is no further update on his condition or his injuries at this time. No additional injuries were reported in the crash.
