Pedestrian Accidents in Delaware
Pedestrian crashes are some of the most serious and devastating types of injury accidents. In Delaware, hundreds of pedestrians are hurt in crashes each year. A pedestrian is among the most vulnerable traffic accident victims. The pedestrian has no protection from the force and impact of a crash. Further, pedestrian crashes often take place very suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving victims with little time to react in order to avoid a crash.
Under Delaware law, pedestrian accident victims may have certain valuable legal rights. This includes the right to receive compensation when they have been affected by a crash that was not their fault. The law is complicated, and these matters should only be handled by an experienced and skilled lawyer. Victims and family members who attempt to handle their own claims often end up costing themselves thousands of dollars in compensation.
