Car Accidents in Delaware
Car accidents in Delaware take place on a daily basis. Unfortunately, these crashes often end with injuries to innocent motorists. Last year, nearly 8,000 people were injured in crashes on Delaware’s roadways. A substantial number of these injured victims were hurt in accidents that were caused by someone else. This includes speeding, reckless driving, impairment, distraction, and more. The cause of every accident must be carefully investigated in order to determine who should be held legally responsible.
Under Delaware law, car accident victims should be fully aware of their legal rights. This includes the right to receive compensation for their injuries. Depending on the nature of the crash and your injuries, the amount of potential compensation can be substantial. You should not speak with the insurance company until you have secured legal representation. Too often, victims will make costly mistakes that harm their cases prior to receiving legal advice.
