Bear, DE (January 31, 2024) – A 32-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash that took place in Bear on Saturday, January 27th. The accident was reported around 3:15 p.m. on Route 7 near Rivers End Drive.
According to a report from the scene, the victim was riding as a front seat passenger in an SUV. A vehicle traveling in the opposite direction crossed the center line and struck the SUV head-on. The woman was killed as a result of the collision. Two male passengers, ages 41 and 42, were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. A 2-year-old child in the SUV was also seriously hurt. The driver of the wrong-way car, a 26-year-old man from Pennsylvania, also sustained injuries. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending the outcome. No further details are available.
