Bear, DE (February 7, 2024) – Troopers with the Delaware State Police were dispatched to the scene of a serious accident on Wednesday, February 7th. The accident took place on Walter Road at the Christina River Bridge. According to police, the crash was described as being serious in nature, with resulting injuries to at least one person. The injured victim was treated at the scene before they were taken to a local hospital for additional treatment. Police closed Christiana Road for an extended period of time while the crash was investigated. There is no information on what caused the accident to happen at this time.
