Harrington, DE (May 24, 2024) – A deadly motorcycle crash was reported in Harrington on Tuesday, May 21st. The incident happened around 4:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Vernon Road near Fox Hunters Road.
According to a report from the Delaware State Police, a Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on Vernon Road. At the same time, a Honda motorcycle was traveling westbound on Vernon Road. The Freightliner came to a stop to make a left turn onto Fox Hunters Road. As the truck was turning, the motorcycle collided with the back part of the trailer. The rider was ejected and later was pronounced dead. The victim was identified as 31-year-old Brandon Williams of Denton. The driver of the Freightliner, a 58-year-old Laurel man, was not hurt. The accident remains under investigation. There is no further information available at this time.
