According to the Delaware State Police, the pickup truck driver, a male approximately 35 years old, became briefly trapped in the wreckage after the collision. Multiple emergency response teams, including units from the Goodwill Fire Company, Christiana Fire Company, Delaware City Fire Company, and Port Penn Fire Company, responded promptly to the scene. Firefighters worked diligently to extricate the driver from the wreckage.
