Newark, DE (January 14, 2025) – A serious pedestrian crash occurred early Monday morning when a car collided with the Methodist Church at 77 New London Rd in Newark, injuring both the pedestrian and the driver. The accident, reported by Newark Police at approximately 4:30 a.m., involved a pedestrian being struck before the vehicle crashed into the church.
Emergency responders quickly arrived, and the pedestrian sustained significant injuries. Additional Advanced Life Support (ALS) personnel and the New Castle County Collapse Team were requested for assistance.
