I am a trial lawyer who helps individuals who have been seriously injured by collisions, negligence, malpractice, neglect and abuse to seek justice from those people and companies that have caused them harm.
I understand that calling an attorney takes courage. My team and I are here to answer your questions, guide you and pursue your claims to the fullest extent.
I specialize in representing people who have been injured physically, emotionally and psychologically. I have successfully pursued claims relating to auto crashes, trucking accidents, mental health (psychiatric) malpractice, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, traumatic brain injury, serious bodily injury and sexual trauma.
I am a partner at Murphy & Landon, and have been a part of the team here since 2008. During my tenure, I have represented clients in both Delaware and New Jersey. Before coming to Murphy & Landon, I clerked for the Honorable James Den Uyl in the New Jersey Superior Court. I graduated from the Delaware Law School of Widener University and the Widener University School of Business in 2007, when I earned both an MBA and a Law Degree.
In addition to injury law, I am actively serving on the Board of Governors of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, and am a member of TRIAD. I helped to plan the 2019 Trauma Institute hosted by SOAR (Survivors of Abuse in Recovery, Inc.) and the Beau Biden Foundation, which focused upon professional development for a trauma informed practice, an eye-opening experience. I also volunteer my time representing dependent, neglected and abused children in Family Court proceedings through the Office of the Child Advocate. I am an active member of the Delaware State Bar Association, and served as co-chair of the Legislative Committee for the Women in the Law Section, providing education and bringing awareness to women’s issues.
I have many interests including continuously learning about people and the world around me. I am a student of American Sign Language (ASL), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, meditation and music. I enjoy spending time with my family and am happiest sitting with a cup of coffee and having some animated conversation.
My team and I are committed to providing our clients with personal attention; helping them to understand their legal rights, remedies and options. Having a family of my own, I understand the importance of maintaining security in times of uncertainty, and I will be available to and committed to helping you achieve that goal.
